Sustainability Products
We Think Ahead
We are guided by the conviction that we are actively helping to shape change. With the Green Choice sustainability label, we label products that stand for ecological sustainability in particular. By 2025, the goal for our collections, including accessories, is more sustainable materials, more environmentally friendly production and more sustainable product packaging.
Green Choice
Sustainability is also becoming increasingly important for our customers. We have been continuously increasing the proportion of more eco-friendly products in our range for years. To this end, we are taking targeted measures and relying on recognised, independent certifications: in the choice of materials, the manufacturing process and the packaging material. With the autumn 2024 collection, around 80% of our range already bears the Green Choice label.
'We Want to Show That It Is Possible to Use Natural Materials, Produce more Sustainably and Still Have High-Performance Products.'
Boris Herrmann // Green Choice ambassador for the Boris Herrmann x OLYMP collection
The Green Choice ambassador is Boris Herrmann. He is not only a world-famous professional sailor, but also an environmental and climate activist. His sustainability message: ‘A Race We Must Win - Climate Action Now’. This makes him the ideal partner for our ambitious programme. With the Boris Herrmann x OLYMP collections, we are going one step further. We dedicate ourselves to a central challenge in product design and present innovative sustainability and design ideas.

Goals of Green Choice
In addition to more sustainable materials, Green Choice stands for more environmentally friendly manufacturing processes. If a product comes from more environmentally friendly production, it qualifies for Green Choice. In the first step, we rely on comprehensive certification of the production facilities. At Green Choice, we rely primarily on the OEKO-TEX® MADE IN GREEN standard to verify more sustainable manufacturing processes. The garments labelled with this standard are manufactured from the yarn to the finished product in more environmentally friendly facilities and under safer and more socially acceptable working conditions.
Our products are supplied in various types of packaging to protect them optimally from external influences during transport, storage and presentation in the shop. Our product packaging is therefore a key element of quality assurance. We started to make our shirt packaging more environmentally sustainable back in 2022. Individual details have been adapted to further harmonise the requirements for packaging and sustainability. All main materials are certified according to recognised external standards. They make a positive contribution to the environment by being recycled or promoting responsible forestry. In addition, the sales packaging (bag and sleeve) is recyclable.
