German Fashion Brand Collaborates with Global Superstar on New Campaign
The international men’s fashion brand OLYMP has commissioned world renowned Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey as its new brand ambassador.

This collaboration with Matthew McConaughey is an important milestone in the transformation of the product specialist into a lifestyle brand. The new campaign was shot by renowned photographer Mario Sorrenti in Los Angeles. These images will be featured in high-reach consumer advertising from spring 2025 onwards, showing up in various communication channels right through to the point of sale – with millions of impressions in print and digital media, on social media, at the POS and on TV. The high advertising impact generated by this will significantly increase brand awareness and desirability and continue to have a positive impact on demand for high-quality OLYMP products.
Matthew David McConaughey was born in Uvalde in the US state of Texas on 4 November 1969. Since celebrating his acting debut with the coming-of-age film Dazed and Confused in 1993, he has been considered a reliable staple in Hollywood. The married father of three had his definitive break-through as lawyer Jake Brigance in the legal thriller Time To Kill in 1996. The role of Ron Woodroof, an electrician diagnosed with HIV, in the film drama Dallas Buyers Club (2013) earned him an Oscar in the “Best Actor” category. Numerous blockbusters followed, such as The Wolf of Wall Street (2013), Interstellar (2014) and The Gentlemen (2019). Most recently, in 2024, he surprised many with a cameo in the science fiction action film Deadpool & Wolverine. The “Just Keep Livin Founda-tion“ he and his wife Camila set up is dedicated to helping and encouraging high-school students at this critical stage in their lives, and motivating them to make healthy decisions for a better future. With Pantalones Tequila the couple also market an award-winning, organic agave spirit. Matthew McConaughey is also co-owner of the football club Austin FC, which plays in the Major League Soc-cer (MLS) – the top league in US men’s soccer.
