March 31, 2025 OLYMP is opening a new brand store in Nuremberg’s metropolitan region
The Bietigheim-based fashion brand is moving into a store in Nuremberg’s city centre
OLYMP Bezner KG from Bietigheim-Bissingen (Ludwigsburg district, Baden-Württemberg, Germany) is opening a new brand store in central Nuremberg on Thursday, 3 April 2025. This represents an expansion of the sales network in Franconia and Bavaria for the men’s fashion brand, which is known internationally for its shirts, jumpers, polo shirts and more.
In a retail space measuring 100 square metres, OLYMP will be showcasing its entire portfolio of clothing items in this major Middle Franconian city. At its top-quality city-centre location at Ludwigsplatz 7, customers will find all manner of shirts in every conceivable design, colour and pattern; in various cuts, collar versions and sleeve lengths; and in a wide range of sizes. Matching accessories will also be available. Another focus of the range is masculine OLYMP casual styles, with leisure shirts, jumpers, sweatshirts, polo shirts and T-shirts. In addition, trousers in a variety of designs complete the range of products from the waist down.
OLYMP’s modern store concept was designed by the renowned Stuttgart-based architecture firm Blocher Partners. The friendly interior design emphasises individuality, clarity and a high degree of flexibility. Elements made of different materials create a harmonious atmosphere featuring alternating light and dark contrasts. In addition, digital presentation elements have been integrated – along with a virtual shelf extension that allows an unlimited product range to be displayed via an in-store order terminal – to enhance the shopping experience. Furthermore, various services will be offered, including the option to pick up online orders in store (Click & Collect) or to make online reservations in store (Click & Reserve).
Kai Graf, OLYMP’s Managing Director for Sales, says: “OLYMP has long been firmly established in the German specialist trade. We wish to continue further intensifying this proven collaboration with our trading partners. At the same time, we intend to further boost our own sales activities. With its special old town flair, Nuremberg has an excellent retail centrality. In addition to the local population, there are people from the surrounding area who come to the city specifically for shopping, as well as millions of tourists”. The new OLYMP brand store will also create five additional jobs. An experienced sales team offers expert advice, personalised service and ensures a special shopping atmosphere through the unmistakable friendliness of a medium-sized family business from Baden-Württemberg.
OLYMP Bezner KG, based in Bietigheim-Bissingen near Stuttgart, is the market leader for shirts in Germany. In addition, its high-quality clothing range is distributed in more than 40 export countries worldwide. The revenues generated in 2024 were 212 million euros. OLYMP products are primarily distributed via specialist clothing retailers. As part of its own retail strategy, which represents a sensible addition to the expansion of its brand presence, OLYMP is pursuing a prudent expansion strat-egy. With the new OLYMP store in Nuremberg, a total of 53 mono-brand stores are being operated in the DACH region. The new branch at Ludwigsplatz 7 is the eighth freestanding store that is not located in a shopping centre, but rather in a lively pedestrian zone.
